The vaccine contains one additional Feline Calicivirus strain isolated from one hemorrhagic Calicivirus outbreak that occurred in 1998 and was shown to protect vaccinated cats against Calicivirus-induced hemorrhagic disease in controlled vaccination challenge experiments.
