Description
Petrified Wood is a remarkable natural stone formed from the fossilized remains of ancient trees, where organic materials have been replaced by minerals over millions of years. This process results in a beautiful, dense rock that retains the intricate grain patterns and textures of the original terrestrial vegetation. Its earthy tones and vertical wood-like structures make it a good pick for creating forest or sunken timber-inspired hardscape layouts. Petrified Wood is also suitable for non-aquarium use and will work beautifully in terrariums, paludariums, or similar planted enclosures to achieve a prehistoric, woodland aesthetic.
