The UNS Atmos features built-in hang-on hooks that slide directly over the top rear edge of your rimless glass aquarium, hanging flush against the back panel without adhesives or suction cups.
2. Can I use the UNS Atmos on non-UNS rimless tanks or framed tanks?
The UNS Atmos is sized specifically to match Ultum Nature Systems rimless glass tank footprints. It will fit other rimless aquariums provided the length and height dimensions match, and the glass thickness does not exceed 12mm. It is not compatible with standard plastic-framed (rimmed) tanks.
3. Does the UNS Atmos replace my main aquarium light fixture?
No. The UNS Atmos is an ambient backlighting panel designed to enhance visual depth, hide equipment, and provide customizable background aesthetics. It should be paired with a primary overhead LED fixture (such as a Twinstar, Chihiros, or ONF light) to supply the target PAR for plant photosynthesis.
