Product Overview
The UNS 16C 1 Gallon Ultra Clear Rimless Aquarium provides a nano-scale symmetrical cube canvas designed for tabletop micro-aquascaping and plant displays. Featuring equal dimensions on all sides, the Cube format centers focus inward, making it an ideal footprint for micro hardscapes, moss arrangements, or Wabi-Kusa displays.
Key Features & Benefits
91% Diamant Ultra-Clear Glass: Low-iron glass construction removes residual green tint distortion, ensuring true-to-life color reproduction for plants, mosses, and hardscape.
45° Mitered Edges & German Silicone: Precision-cut 45-degree mitered joints increase bonding surface area for clear German silicone, creating stronger structural seams and borderless viewing.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is the UNS 16C cube aquarium best used for?
Due to its 1-gallon volume and small cubic dimensions, the UNS 16C is designed primarily for micro-aquascaping, moss-focused displays, Wabi-Kusa arrangements, or emersed plant propagation.
2. Can I keep fish or shrimp in a 1-gallon aquarium?
Due to the small 1-gallon capacity, fish are not recommended.
3. Why is a leveling mat necessary for rimless aquariums?
Because rimless glass tanks rest directly on their base panel without a raised plastic frame, even a microscopic grain of sand on a desk can create concentrated stress points under weight. The included dense foam mat absorbs micro-vibrations and distributes weight evenly across the entire footprint to prevent glass stress cracks.
