2. Can I use the Twinstar S Series on a low-tech tank without CO2?
While possible, the S Series produces very high light intensity. If used on a low-tech setup without CO2 or proper nutrient management, you may experience algae growth unless you reduce the daily lighting photoperiod or pair it with an inline dimmer.
