Always tie with enough room to slide your fingers easily between the bandana and your dog’s neck. If you cannot slide your fingers through comfortably, the bandana is tied too tight, and it is worth adjusting before you head out. A too-tight bandana can restrict your dog’s breathing and lead to choking, so check the fit each time you tie it on. Take a minute to double check the fit before you and your pup head out for trick-or-treating.
