Parasites like hookworms, pinworms and roundworms are common in dogs and puppies. A large infestation can lead to nutrient deficiency, weight loss, vomiting, diarrhea and stunted growth in puppies. These effects make deworming a crucial part of responsible pet ownership and care. Nemex-2 liquid is administered into your dog’s mouth, entering the gastrointestinal tract. The dewormer then paralyzes the parasites, forcing them to detach from the intestinal wall and pass through the dog’s feces. Pyrantel pamoate helps with existing infestations and prevents reinfestations. How Long Does Nemex ® -2 Take to Work? If your dog or puppy does have worms, you can tell within 12 hours.
