The Merrill Long Gag with Twisted Wire Dogbone Roller is designed for riders who need maximum leverage and clear, responsive communication. The long shank provides lift and authority, helping horses stay balanced, rate correctly, and remain attentive while giving riders precise control. The 3-piece twisted wire mouthpiece encourages responsiveness without creating a nutcracker effect, while the dogbone roller promotes jaw relaxation and salivation. This combination makes it ideal for horses that need extra control but benefit from softness and flexibility in the bridle.
