The Swivel Port Hinge American Gag Bit is designed for horses that struggle to find comfort with a traditional bit. Unlike fixed-port designs, this bit features a 360-degree rotating port, allowing the horse to adjust the mouthpiece to its preferred position. The swivel function helps reduce tongue pressure while allowing natural movement in the jaw. The American gag cheekpiece adds an upward gag-like action and increased poll pressure, helping riders encourage proper head carriage and balance in horses that tend to travel low or feel heavy in the hand.
