This antibiotic is a novel Antibiotic that works against resistant bacteria like MRSA (Methicillin resistant Staphylcoccus aureus) and VRE (Vancomycin resistant Enterococcus) that will work in a lot of cases where no other antibiotic has an effect. Linezolid is a synthetic antibiotic used for the treatment of serious infection caused by gram positive bacteria.
