Frequently Asked Questions
1. How is the Chihiros WRGB II PRO different from the standard WRGB II?
The PRO version features upgraded 4-in-1 chips that incorporate a dedicated white diode channel alongside red, green, and blue diodes. This delivers significantly higher lumen output and PAR intensity (roughly 30–40% brighter) to easily illuminate deep or wide high-tech planted aquariums.
2. Do I need a separate Wi-Fi Hub to control the Chihiros WRGB II PRO?
Out of the box, the light connects directly to your smartphone via Bluetooth using the My Chihiros App to set color channels, brightness levels, and daily schedules. To control the light remotely over Wi-Fi when away from home, you can pair it with an optional Chihiros Wi-Fi Hub.
3. Can I hang the Chihiros WRGB II PRO over my aquarium instead of using the metal legs?
Yes! You can remove the sliding metal legs and suspend the light overhead using the dedicated Chihiros WRGB II PRO Light Hanging Kit.
