Description
Product Overview
The Aquario Neo Flow Lily Pipes are shatterproof PETG inflow and outflow pipes engineered for external canister filtration on aquariums up to 12mm glass thickness. Combining the crystal-clear transparency of glass with the ultra-durable flexibility of high-grade PETG polymer, these pipes deliver pristine water movement while remaining virtually unbreakable.
Key Features & Benefits
Shatterproof PETG Construction: High-elasticity PETG polymer is significantly stronger than standard acrylic and will not snap or shatter like fragile glass pipes.
Rotatable & Directional Outflow: Outflow nozzle rotates 360 degrees, allowing you to fine-tune water circulation and surface movement to eliminate stagnant dead zones.
Trimmable Custom Sizing: Easily cut the pipes to your exact aquarium height using pipe shears or a fine hand saw for a perfectly tailored rimless fit.
Tight Curvature Profile: Tight bend radius keeps pipes hugging close to the glass rim, minimizing visual distraction inside your aquascape.
Easy Multi-Part Cleaning: Intake grates and outflow nozzles separate effortlessly from the main pipe body for quick, hassle-free scrubbing during routine maintenance.
Modular Attachment Ecosystem: Fully compatible with optional Aquario Neo accessories to expand functionality:
Aquario Neo Reliever: Disperses water velocity for gentle flow suitable for delicate fish and dwarf shrimp.
Aquario Neo Skimmer: Automatically strips surface film, dust, and oily bio-layers from the water surface.
Aquario Neo Mixer: Features an integrated Neo Tiny CO2 diffuser to maximize gas dissolution directly in the outflow.
Aquario Neo Outlet: Enhances directional current control to improve circulation across large hardscapes.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Why should I choose PETG lily pipes over glass or stainless steel?
PETG offers the optical clarity of glass without the risk of shattering during maintenance, while avoiding the dark visual mass of stainless steel pipes. It provides the ideal balance of invisible aesthetic integration, elasticity, and impact resistance for high-end aquascapes.
2. How do I trim Aquario Neo Flow pipes to fit my specific aquarium height?
Measure the desired clearance inside your tank, then use pipe scissors or a fine steel saw blade to cut the straight section of the PETG pipe. Smooth any rough edges with fine sandpaper before reattaching the removable bottom intake grate.
3. How can I make the Neo Flow intake safe for baby shrimp and fry?
Attaching a fine mesh guard or a pre-filter sponge over the removable lower inlet grate stops tiny Caridina or Neocaridina dwarf shrimp and small fry from getting pulled into the suction hose, keeping livestock completely safe.
4. What is the best way to clean algae or biofilm from inside the pipes?
Because the inlet bottom and outflow nozzles detach from the main vertical tubes, you can easily run a flexible spring pipe brush through the body, or soak the disassembled parts in a mild citric acid bath to remove stubborn algae buildup without scratching the PETG material.
