Description
Modern, High-Contrast Aquascaping with Zero Pest Hitchhikers Elevate your aquarium hardscape with the striking, dramatic aesthetic of the Real Reef Arches (4-Pack) in Midnight Black. Designed specifically for modern reefers and fish-only setups looking for an alternative to traditional coralline pinks and purples, the Midnight Black finish creates an ultra-sleek, moody, high-contrast backdrop that makes the vibrant fluorescent pigments of SPS, LPS, and soft corals pop like never before. Each box contains four handcrafted, lightweight, and highly porous arches averaging 8 to 14 inches in length. With natural variance across every piece, you get dynamic curves, shelves, swim-throughs, and caves straight out of the box—giving you the freedom to build an open, negative-space aquascape without hours of chiseling or drilling. Why Choose Real Reef Midnight Black Arches? Bold Midnight Black Finish: Formulated with non-toxic, reef-safe mineral pigments that will not leach heavy metals, copper, or synthetic dyes. The deep black tones create intense visual depth and spotlight coral coloration. 100% Eco-Friendly & Ocean-Safe: Crafted in the USA from natural, calcium carbonate-based reef-building materials to replicate authentic coral skeleton porosity. Zero wild harvesting protects delicate natural coral reefs. Pest-Free & Hitchhiker-Free Guarantee: Cultured in closed, bio-secure greenhouse facilities. Enjoy all the micro-porosity and biological surface area of mature live rock without introducing nuisance algae, flatworms, Aiptasia, mantis shrimp, or unwanted crabs. Instant Flow & Swim-Throughs: Pre-molded into functional archways to eliminate dead flow spots around your sandbed, elevate coral frag placement closer to high-PAR light zones, and provide natural shelter for tangs, wrasses, and blennies. Extremely Porous & Lightweight: Packed with micro and macro pores that foster dense colonies of nitrifying and denitrifying beneficial bacteria to stabilize biological filtration. What’s in the Box? 4x Real Reef Midnight Black Arches (Handcrafted shapes; dimensions average approx. 8″–14″ L x 4″–7″ H each) Aquascaping Pro Tips Modular Stacking: The natural contours of the arches lock together cleanly using cyanoacrylate gel and epoxy putty (the “sandwich” method) or hydraulic reef cement for gravity-defying bridges and overhangs. Curing & Cycling: While 100% clean and free of organic die-off, Real Reef Rock is calcium-based. Simply give them a quick RO/DI rinse to clear any transit dust, place them in your tank, and dose your preferred nitrifying bacteria to initiate your cycle. Planted & Frag Placement: The porous crevices and textured surface are naturally suited for mounting standard coral frag plugs without extensive drilling.
