Description
Red Petrified Wood is a natural stone formed from the fossilized remains of ancient trees and terrestrial vegetation. Over millions of years, organic materials have been replaced by minerals to create a dense, beautiful stone that retains the intricate grain and character of its prehistoric origin. This specific variety features a striking color palette of deep brick-reds and warm earthy tones, making it the perfect pick for recreating a submerged redwood forest. The vertical grain and rugged textures of this natural rock offer a unique aesthetic that contrasts beautifully against bright green aquatic plants. Red Petrified Wood is also suitable for non-aquarium use and will work beautifully as a storied accent in terrariums, paludariums, or similar bioactive enclosures.
Pieces from packages will range from 5-12 inches.
