Frequently Asked Questions
1. Will this shade fit older Chihiros Vivid models like the Vivid 2 or Vivid II Mate?
No. The WRGB Vivid 3 features an updated unibody chassis. These shades are designed specifically for the Chihiros WRGB Vivid 3 housing dimensions and mounting tracks.
2. How do internal mirror panels improve lighting performance?
High-output LEDs emit light at wide angles. Instead of letting horizontal light rays spill out into your living space, the internal mirror surfaces bounce those escaping rays straight down into the aquarium, effectively increasing usable light energy at the substrate level.
3. Are tools required to install the shades?
Not at all! Installation is 100% tool-free. The panels feature top lips designed to slide directly into the designated track channels on the front and rear of your Chihiros Vivid 3 housing.
