The Steel Cowboy Bit is an essential addition to your tack room, especially for older, well-trained seasoned horses. This bit is particularly beneficial for ropers and horses that need to improve their collection and rate. The chain port is designed to sit comfortably in the horse’s mouth, encouraging it to bend at the poll. The sweet iron mouthpiece, along with the copper roller, promotes salivation and encourages a softer mouth. The roller makes a cricket sound when rolled by the horse’s tongue, soothing the nervous or fidgety horse. With a 7 1/2” shank, this bit provides the rider with sufficient leverage and control, even when handling stronger horses.
