Draw gag bits are known for their effectiveness in teaching horses how to flex, bend, and maintain a proper headset. However, the challenge often lies in finding a gag bridle that strikes the right balance; many are either too soft or too stiff, providing little feedback to the rider. In addressing this issue, we’ve carefully selected a firm braided rope for this particular bridle. Contrary to its appearance, the rope crown proves to be more neutral and works exceptionally well to encourage a horse to maintain a good headset. Welcome to the Rope Crown Draw Gag Headstall by Circle Y, a tool that combines the best of both worlds for riders seeking to refine their horse’s responsiveness and head carriage.
